sold my gs1 for 180.00 two days ago and bought the gs2 the same day...so far, i love it..so smooth. no android drain bug after the most recent update through kies...awesome phone.

I had battery drain with that update. had to use atk auto kill to cure it. however .4 update solves this totally.

@c.k. nice review.. but you forgot the fact that plastic case not only help on reducing weight, it protects against overheating. heavy use like playing games for more than 15 minutes or so the phone get overheated in such a way that its hard to hold even if its plastic. i read somewhere that the developers avoided metal casing intentionally coz of this fault of samsung processors.

Great review ck, seems the main issue with the GS2 is holding it, ive seen many complain that it realy isnt palm friendly, Samsung have a lot to learn from HTC, SE, Nokia and Apple when it come so phone design, phones with such large displays require a huge focus on its design hence why HTC and SE use curved backs, makes it comfy to hold the phone for long periods of time.

I've had the se arc... and believe me the sgs2 is faaaaar easier to hold!!!
