I have a Motorola defy, love it, however my power button not working properly, what I'm looking for is an app that would restart the phone, some phones like wildfire S has it built in, I looked on playstore but most are only closing apps but not fully restarting phone, any one knows which particular app I can use? I have playstore, blackmart and aptoid so it must be there somewhere... |

checked it, the reboot only reboots and refreshes apps, not the actual phone

get it repaired then. what happens when your battery runs out, can you turn it on? this is what warranties are for.

But most warrantys only go for 12month and some places will let you extend the warranty for another 12 or 24 months but thats it after that your on your own you either repair it au your own cost or get another phone

It can be turned on, that's what I don't understand, but it won't turn off if I need to reboot, can't be a bug etc coz I've even fully formatted the phone, there no warranty with it. |

most reboot apps require root so unless you are... but search for quick reboot.

try this press the menu button and the off button and the up or down volume button at the same time to bring up the phone options page to turn phone off or reboot phone.

if you're rooted use root tool box or download a terminal emulator type su first enter then type reboot enter

fastboot.apk has a widget too, think options for download, recovery or reboot mode. Requires root.
