Lol, Google simply cannot do social networking and IM successfully. Hangouts doesn't seem to be doing great and they have resorted to forcing people to get a Google+ account if they want to make comments in Play Store, not to mention having G+ built-in to Android phones.

BlackBerry, should be available for Android in September according to BlackBerry India managing directorSunil Lalvani. We've known that the messagingservice was headed to Android since CEOThorsten Heins announced as much last May, but at today's BlackBerryQ5 launch event in India we're getting a little more information. We know plenty of folks will be happy to see BBM for Android, and we hope the programmers at BlackBerry do a great job and give us an app we will want to use. Hopefully, we'll know more in a month or so.

lol you should be asking who isnt going to download it. many people dont like blackberry devices but we have to admit that BBM is awesome. so I personally will be downloading it as many people I know own a blackberry and even Android and iOS users are going to download whether they'll be chatting to bb users or not
