Has anyone ever experienced that? I.m in a Toyota Quantum minibus taxi right now and the tyre burst when we were on the freeway it sounded like a large fire-cracker was going off. It's scary how random it is. |

Not really random, tyres need care, if they're old, low/high pressured, high milage, high speed, cold weather hot/sun , banged kerbed, overloaded etc, they can n wil

L blow out, they need correct pressure for job in hand, avoid over loading, silicone sidewalls to keep moist, if left for long periods use chocks to keep in shape, high speeds need higher pressure, and avoid kerbing, all reduce chances of blow outs:) oh, that n good tires!

My wheel came of at 100mph the car rolled due to me letting go of steering and let the car go his own way but it hit a pole which was half meter in size then it was the scariest thing as it rolled

helps you from not falling out of the car but head on head it rips of your neck most of the times but its better than endig up head first in the other vehicle though

re-treads are the most dangerous. 99 percent are tubeless so over inflation dont play a part anymore. but it does if your tyre are a re-tread with a hump at the side. Flat tyre messes up your rims unless you can afford those fance rims of merc which can act as a tyre to get you to safety, But burst tyre dont come close to a wheel falling off
