Ok guys i got sum1 who wants to sell me a stolen blackberry 8520 that has neva been activated , the fone does not c*m with a box either . I wanted to know since it has neva been switched on , wil the bb pin stil be workin or would the pin be blocked. Also can the fone be traced . Any help would be appreciated |

Well, if the original owner blacklist the phone, they will know who have it just by comparing the sim id to you, if you have rica on the simcard. If it gets blacklisted, there is no way of the phone working again, plus they might look u up. Rather buy a pre-ricad simcard, and hope the real owner forgets to blacklist. Personally, I'd stay away from it.

Many indian cellphone shops sell pre-ricad simcards at around 50 bucks. I mention this just for those who value their privacy.

That's one in a million. I lost a nokia about 2 years ago, blacklisted it, found it a month later in my caravan, had to go to vodashop with everything including my blood type, and it took 24 hours to unblock.

Some phones come with a feature that sms its imei nr to any nr you choose in the event that the simcard gets changed.Very handy if you don't have the box,but then you can blacklist the phone.Is there such an app for bb?
