Hey guys. I have a question with opera mini. Does it take airtime to use or not? Because it doesn't load any page when I don't have airtime and my 3G doesn't have those dots when I try to load. Is it supposed to be like that? |

apparently it depends. those dots are the bis sign. if its there you are using BIS if not your airtime is being chowed. 3G all capitals BIS, 3g or edge in small letters NOT BIS so your airtime is being chowed. On mtn apparently opera mini is free however on vodacom... your airtime is being chowed... get the drift

lol, d*mn. Looks like I'll have to buy. I know about the capitals and the dots, but what i don't get is why it also does that in the app world. Dots go away

my opera mini (6.5) goes through bis, my data and call balance arent touched and im on voda.

guess its not clear cut as i thought. most people i've heard on voda with the new opera get charged.

what OS you running? I only just realised that I had that charging prob when I was on voda when I upgraded to OS6 for the first time but the thing is I changed to cell C and it worked fine but I didn't use opera that early. only after a few OS upgrades. I'm not really a big fan of opera on the bb. loved it on my old motorolas and nokias.

I'm also running OS5. Ok, charging thing aside. Why does the dots go away when i use 3G on opera mini AND app world? That's what baffles me!!@tsumbe I'll do so. Thanks

just check wat version of opera u using. click on menu help about opera your version should be 6.5.27548 if it not u have old version of opera 6.5 this version works on bis
