the main problem people with Blackberry have, is that they are still using Blackberry..

All my downloads fail half way through. I'm using ucweb at the moment and it happened on the default browser as well. Downloads either fail or keep restarting themselves. I'm on vodacom. N yes blackberries without the bis feature are useless bricks. I have a 9300

Oh and @Aatish20... The problem is vodacom. Haven't you noticed your bbm messages taking for ever to go through? Vodacon....

My wife had same fail on downloads but after I upgraded phone to new software problem was solved

@ceetw2...you've nothing to worry about..the problem is from an app you downloaded' there's nothing with your phone...you wrongly installed an app...this is what you should do...simply delete any app you downloaded recently...nd your phone will be fine...you can re-download them back if you want to....get back if it work..

Yes. I'm still having this problem. I have the latest os6 software installed and was thinking that its best if I switch to cell c cos apparently they don't have a sluggishly slow network as vodacom does. Its horrible. Been this way for nearly 2 months. I had an 8520 and it was a whole faster than my current 3g handset

@aatish I feel your pain...I know there is a file size limit when downloading using BIS.....8MB i think it is. So in order to download a larger files you need to use wap or wifi...not on OS 6. I've downloaded a 108MBfile.but if you're still having download failed go to options davice

go to options devices advanced systems setting service book nd look for the name Blackberry Internet Browsing Service 2,delete that and refresh your download page and download,once you done and you dontfeel comfortable deleting that servicebook,go back there and pressblackberry key and select undelete,itwill put the file back there :)Just make sure that service bookBlackberry Internet Browsing Service2 has the number 2,if it doesnt then go to the one that does,there is always 2service names for

Thanks for the speedy reply. I think it has more to do with my service provider than handset. I have tried your recommendation but still does not download.I have read on other forums that vodacom has implemented a bis cap of 100mb and I have unfortunately maxed that limit.
