i reckon if u connect with someone on here n chat on the fone regular then dont hold back on meeting them if u can.. just dont have too many high expectations of clicking when u both meet cos u may be a little taken with that person online but they could be totally different in the flesh

SOmetime you can know someone for a while via phone and net and get along. Then why not meet as long as it is for friendship. You cant expect to be your ideal partner, same as off here you should not have those expectations from a first date. I however have found that by getting to know someone over the phone for a while stands more of a chance of working than someone you bump into in a pub.

I'm not saying that u can't find love unexpectedly but i think it's a myth that u find love when ur not looking for it. Ur not gonna find someone by sitting at home and not going out meeting people. U have to put yourself out there and make some kind of effort to get to know people. Saying that, if 'looking for love' means being needy and desperate then ur probably harming your chances. So i think 'stop looking for love and it will find u' means stop being needy and desperate.

met my other half on here about 5 years ago..... both met with no expectations but clicked and we still together :) just goes to show not everyone is a stalker or a freak on here
