Hi Peepz, i am pretty ignorant when it comes to technology. I have downloaded videos from YMA Youtube Mobile Access, had it converted to 3gp format on the site, but it would play on my phone. Just wonderin if a Sonyericsson P910i is 3gp compatable. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Your phone should be able to play 3gp files. Best way to convert video is to use PC and some converter. I reccomend Total video converter or easy video to 3gp converter.

Ah im afraid all vids convertd by them converter sites ie blueapple.Mobi tinytube.Net and mymobileclips.Com wont play on some s.e p800,p900 and your fone for instance. no idea why nobodies ever given me an explanation. Shame realy coz theyre brilliant sites. Only solution is to get anothr phne

Yep P910 is able to play 3GP, but maybe the reason it didnt play is because the vid resolution and or bit rate are to high

Hey guys i think i have figured out why the video wouldnt play on my phone, but i could be wrong and stand for correction. I downloaded the very same video to my pc n it played perfectly on Real Player. Since that video is in real media format it wouldnt play on my P910i as mp ph does not have a Real Player. Hope i expressed my self properly lol.

Ther's a great prog for PC,it's called vDownloader. It downloads streaming video and converte it at the same time. Also you get to choose format of downloaded video.

Dnt think thats the reason janet. The videos play ok on my 6230i but not my p900. Think its summat to do with codecs. Btw think all theses sites come from usa. Could be wrong tho
