p9** users avoid phonesecure v1.44 and frontview if you intend using photopro.had to format c/d drives on 2 seperate occasions.use sman to free memory/kill,especially with p800/900 as not all apps close as requested....k700 users, throw your phones and dig deep....it's time to get the better brother.............that's the s700.

Not all apps you get for a px x x series phone have a quit function, but if you install qfileman available from http://my-symbian.com, which is a filemanager, you can see your running apps, and also close them. This function is on the top left menu

The need to do this is because some apps will run your battery down if left running

If you are luck enough to own a k700 or s700, or similar phone and also a symbian smartphone (sonyericson or nokia), then you can save the .Sis files into the other folder, since a non-smart phone cant install them...

@guy123..i wouldn't say a k700 owner is lucky....i'd be more inclined to say they're unfortunate...that's one common nasty piece of technological history.i didn't change my username from k700nut to s700nuts for no reason dude ![]() |

tracker also allows you to see what apps are open and close them all one time if you want.

@craigl21...indeed mate.good app, love the x skin...just dislike the 20-30% reduction in battery consumption while running.handyday is a 'good' alternative, but its swings and roundabouts.

@guy123...sman closes/flushes apps ADMIRABLY mate.i always keep desktop apps like tracker on autostart and constant run though...otherwise there's no point installing such.tracker also provides kill optons as well...but use sman mainly.what a TRULY WONDERFUL bluejack/hexedit/fileman it is(for freeware anyway)
