Thought it was a good opening episode that had me wanting more at the end. The flash forwards are going to be interesting, its totally turned the style of the show on its head if you ask me.

the whole jacob thing freaks me out. It looked like when jacob was sitting in the rocking chair, it was jacks father...anyone else notice that? And I am still upset about charlie getting killed off.

Its been confirmed from a screen capture that is WAS jacks father sitting in the chair, which is interesting. I dont think We've seen the last of michael and walt.

they haven't said that he's jacob, just that he was sitting in a chair in hugo's halucination. Also michael is coming back this season.

Hugo has never seen jacks dad so must be a reason, also it was not a flash back or forward and how you know he was hallucinating

he hasn't seen jacobs shack before but it was in his vision, he was halucinating cause there was 2 shacks.

Yeah but how can he be hallucinating seeing the house if he has not seen it before? how can you hallucinate something that you have not seen? You would not know what to hallucinate! It must of been there. It was the same as the one locke and ben went to in season 3.

Also they was not two shacks it reappeared infront of him and the door opened because i am guessing jacob wanted to tell him something.

When did you start watching? Do you not realise the island is not normal? Has been a few clues, polar bears, black smoke clouds, a man with a broken back being able to walk, trap doors in the jungle floor that appear from no where.

all those things have logical explanation though, except the black smoke which locke says is a defence system.
