New batch of games for kinect will be shown at Frankfurt! Ms aims for 25 kinect utilising games to launch before Christmas! This includes games that have extended control system using kinect as well as dedicated kinect titles.

All that really matters at the moment is the price and i wonder why microsoft are being so coy on the whole thing.....  considering sony have put it out there and they launch at the same time. maybe kinect even sooner

Wooah? Was just about to say that that wii that i won last year and softmodded to the edge of it's life is still working well and all that! I dont play on wii a great deal but then i doubt that i would play on kinect at all. couldnt be a*sed without the software support nintendo give wii, automatically has to be better that what kinect will have on launch. If this costs over 100 pounds, 360 owners should go and buy a wii if they dont own one already......

I dont know how it can possibly cost that much, its got a bunch of cheapass standard definition monochrome CMOS sensors. microsoft bought the israelis right, and arent paying license fees? so where would the cost actually be to push it over 100 quid? the processor, IR sensor? i dunno. pah.

It's cos it's for the xbox and it works with all the other software for the xbox too, so they'll probably bundle it with some sort of sparkly, flashy software disc that looks ace first time you see it but after a while end up being pants, then will come the price drop, then the mass stock pile of 2nd hand ones back in the shops. A bit like dj hero's doing nowdays.
