I reckon it's some form of memorial posting this topic, I remember posting in RnB in '14 before leaving to the Netherlands to pursue law having no idea it would be such a bumpy ride. And then in the last 6 months working on a meager salary as a teacher has taught me to do with less, but I'm finally in awe going to say this. I landed a job at a law firm directly under a solicitor in a nice location and I'm beyond speechless. I'm just thankful for the people who have been here for me and challenged my ideas and way of thinking. Today is a day to celebrate and another footstep in the journey called life. I hope we all achieve whatever dreams we pursue.  |

Once the bar and Pcll is cleared, one can qualify as a lawyer in common law jurisdictions and eventually as a barrister, but this first step in the road down towards the exam has finally begun, and I'm eternally grateful for all the friends and family who have been around.
