Three channels in the 70s, four in the '80s, until we got Sky Channel in like '87. The one channel. Great TV?! But then came the 90s and it was time to celebrate - a whole decade fuelled by dance music, as we prepared for a new millennium... What a comedown the 00s were. How does one even pronounce that? The naughties? Please. The less said about the political, austere teens, the better. My god. The second half of the 20th century was the time to live. But the last two decades.. Jesus. No wonder the young are so fkd up. Bring on the twenties! ![]() ![]() |

80s I think, good music, good films, and just better time of life, my mum had parties every weekend all the neighbours came, everyone talked to each other and just strolled in and out others peoples house, was just a good time to be living in

65 to 75 had a lot of the best music. Although a decade long not technically a decade in the sense the post creator means.

Although satisfactory devices to play it didn't really arrive until the 1980s with the digital compact disc.
