So we have decided to launch an e-commerce business after making a decent business from education. Now here's the million dollar question, as a consumer, what particular niche would you find most attractive? What would you like buying cheaply online that you wouldn't be able to find in stores? |

A subscription? ![]() Can this apply to my business model considering that it's all about sending a product from a third party purchaser. Perhaps, I need to look into this more. But the real question is whether you'll buy from a newly launched unknown business when it comes to food for your pets? There's more at stake for the consumer. |

There's more at stake for the consumer. start small but sell only known brands that already have high consumer confidence. if you do pet food make sure you buy something with a good shelf life. most suppliers will only offer you a good price if you're an account holding customer of theirs and you'll start on probation. anything you bulk buy you'd need to pay off in 30 or 60 days. if you can't do that you'll get dropped and get no more stock. it's best to have the funds to pay off your first few orders without relying on selling out first at your end. a subscription business still has it's own unique packaging and shipping to pay for and whatever delivery costs are needed. you need a back loan and nerves of steel on top of a solid business model. |

I'd just finished watching a youtube video 2 minutes before reading this topic, I don't know if it holds any relevance for you or not but it is sort of about business start-ups, so I just thought i'd share.

I've made 10k in profits this year alone with curriculum development and language teaching online. (For anyone interested in starting out something) I'm confident I will build a viable high converting Shopify store by the end of this year despite the 9-5 obligations. Thanks for the tips! |

Thanks, tranie! But that's not my niche. I've found my winning products as of late and they are things I genuinely like. |
