 2nd handset returned. I am not spending gbp600 and then having to wait for a fix. Let's hope I fare better with iPhone 5. Disgraceful battery life. Worse than iPhone 3GS. Loses network signal and does not find it again. Siri cr*p. |

1. Battery life. 2. Reception 3. Loses signal and it does not return unless you force it to via airplane mode et al. 4. Unforunately camera is not such an improvement. It looks same on phone as it did on i4. How many people view on pc or develop pictures anymore, I don't. I was selling the i4 and paying difference for i4S. In the end brought it back for full refund and kept i4. Speed increase in

browser was minimal. In essence, what I mean, is one day back with the i4 and I don't feel anything missing without the i4S. Cheap, discount or free its worth it but not for full gbp 5-700 it is not. Oh and I can honestly say battery is worse than i3GS. I had two i4S. Though I have a friend who is very lucky as he is the only one I know who does not have problems with the battery.

Interesting dani and thanks for sharing. I must admit I took an 18 month i4 contract out only last month and I love it....still on iOS4 and jailbroken

@dani. I was due an upgrade and I was offered the i4 on a rolling contract for free. The 4s was not available in Ireland until a month after the UK so I didn't wait lol.

Was in Manchester for a football game and had a look at my cousins 4s and to be honest the Siri hardly worked for him and that type of thing wouldn't appeal to me :-)

Dani the camera is big improvement and the whole OS feels so smooth and remember by the end of the year most apps will support the 4S and take advantage of the hardware . I also have iPhone 4 but I admit 4S is a lot lot faster

And that's another reason why I'm holding out until the ip5,my contract runs out in July so I'm not forking out cash to pay off my contract for what sounds like a minimal upgrade or even less.....Hmm I'm happy enough with what iv got.Anyway Siri doesn't understand us Scots.....Thanks for the info Dani

Keeping the battery issue aside I'm all ready to upgrade to the 4S. Let's see what comes with the iOS 5.0.2. Hopefully that will fix the battery issue on the 4S and I will finally get it.

@Akash wait until you get feedback from the man in the street (non-beta) tester for iOS 5.0.2. Because the developers had no problem with 5.0.1 and said it worked increased batter for 4S but its definitely different for the real-user. Although by the time we get that info, it will be mid January and perhaps 6-8 months later it will be iPhone 5.
