Small to medium house spiders never bother me, i can pick them up and put them in safe piace so thew dont get trodden on, but one day saw a sTrange one in my bedroom that did not meet my approval, and was unwelcome, although not large, but its body resembled a malteser, have not seen one like it before or since, i picked up a rag that was handy at hand, bundled it inside and promptly chucked the lot out of the window and into the garden below, the spider had gone when i went out to retrieve my rag an hour later, hopefully it provided a good meal for a crow or gull.
