Anyone else feel that slipknot's stage presence seems to be slipping? I saw them tonight, and despite being a long term fan, i found they lacked their usual passion and charisma. Is it just me? |

Was standing. Went in the pit for Machine head. Was blood brilliant. Didn't venture in for slipknot as my other half went over on his ankles during davidian.

Ive got alot more into machine head n slipknot now, a bit p*ssed that i missed children of bodom tho, coz they started early

they seemed to have pretty good presence to me. I saw them touring with iowa but wasn't especially into them at the time, and they didn't seem particularly better back then than they were last night. Make of that what you will.

we found a pretty good spot, right up by the stage on the right hand side. Couldn't see the entire stage from there so it wasn't too sardiney but still right in the thick of it, you know? And plenty going on all the same. We were right by shaun's drum riser and the whole band seemed to be moving around the stage plenty so there was always something going on.

(and i use the word 'drum' very loosely. Perhaps 'barrel and other metal stuff riser' would be more appropriate...)
