Many great bands have been inducted into The Rock N Roll Hall of Fame such as Black Sabbath, Hendrix, The Doors, Metallica and more. But the RNRHOF is becoming a joke, they inducted Madonna a year ago and this year Abba are on the list. Its such a joke, how are any of those last two in any way rock. Its just really sad to see artists like that being called rock when they are clearly pop. |

I agree with metalboy. But they have it every year and there aren't many bands that are actually worthy of making it... Sad but true. I think that they just pick from the artists that have been around that long, rock or not

Yeah, for a band to qualify for a nomination they need to have been around for 25+ years. There are lots of bands that have deserved it. But lately they inducting rap and pop artists which is not fair. What's even more cr*p is that Iron Maiden nor Judas Priest have never been nominated, those bands were around when Heavy Metal started and have influenced so many bands.
