I'm not sure why, I'm no massive Prince fan to be honest - he's a hugely talented guy, but with far too high a cr*p to goodness ratio for me to be rushing out. Planet Earth (which was apparently only given away with the Sunday Mirror) was pretty good and a bit of a return to form, but mates of mine will almost certainly have one or the other of the new albums, and so I'll check 'em out in the fullness of time and get one or both if they're great - critical reception seems mixed at present, although t'was ever thus with His Purpleness.
