I use them both for years now :) The biggest advantage of the s60 is single hand use/operation. my iPAQ on the other hand comes first when surfing the net on the go. software wise are about the same. the s60 is easier to install it on. (you don't need the desctop) portability - the s60 comes on smaller devices overall, but that may be a disadvantage when it comes to screen size. I love them both.

software development for symbian is weak.Look at the all beating n95!! a multimedia computer with a best media app like LCG Jukebox!Check the Symbian version of TCPMP it dosen't have half the features of the Windows Mobile version.This pattern is repeated from media players to torrent clients to file explorers etc etc.Symbian has no depth.I think a lot of people had bad experiences with WM2003 and simply don't realise how far the os has come.Compairing wm2003 to WM6 is like compairing Windows

Application wise WM wins by the proverbial country mile.

uhmm nah ive got imaging apps built-in except for AudioCube converter, Smart Movie, Core Player and DivX, i use Symella and Symtorrent etc, dont use any apps to optimize device for peak performance its al gud the way it is

@photon You are clearly biased against S60 therefore I and other people plainly disregard your comments. On the other hand Gucci, I get the feeling you have not used a wm device. The strongest part of my s60 device is what nokia call 'single handed use'. You are not aware of it untill you OWN not try another system which you use regularly. s60 killed s80 and s90 and no one seems to have a answer.

WM6 is not much better then WM5 or WM2003 when it comes to device control. And device control is obviously very important. Nokia have patents all over the place and microsoft have given up in trying to compete when it comes to device interface. only total voice input will super seed the s60's flexibility. i love my ipaq and shortly i will own a tytn2

The tytn will hopefully replace more often my laptop. (not my s60 cellphone) even now the s60 'helps' to leave the amilo in the office now and then. i imagine a day when a s60 device will make wm devices obsolete and even laptops and data projectors

@ gomario, ive used an i-mate SP-5, K-Jam and an Ipaq. I tend to forget about single handed use which yes ive realised s60 is great for , find using my N80 easier than using a P1 or most other Touchscreen, Jogdial devices.

photon,skydiving is becoming pretty big it seems here in South Africa. A friend of mine joined a club he only pays sumthn like R250 a month,so i can believe gomario does it bt a pic or two wouldn't hurt i gues.
