Forget about 'iphone killer' its such a stupid to say IMO, you simply cant 'kill' the iphone, but rather get an alternative touchscreen device that suits your needs. This is why NOKIA N900 came,instead of trying to be an iPhone Killer its a whole other beast for 'geeks'. Anyway try NexusOne, HTC HD2, Nokia N97-Mini, N900,and Palm Pre. NONE of them are 'iPhone Killers' but are great alternatives.

IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU PLAN ON USING THE PHONE FOR! Which one best suits YOUR needs. N97 is terrible BUT N97-Mini is great.

Its generaly problematic, theres too many issues to mention  NOKIA having to give it a Memory Reclaimer is just one of the issues, last phone to need that was the P990. Spec wise N97 is a threat to the others,i mean how many high end smartphones have a FM Transmitter,and 32gb? The only spec that lets N97 down is RAM, otherwise IMO spec wise N97 is up there with the best of them.
