Thought it would be a good idea to have a Maemo5 apps thread to post and share apps, some apps are not in the repositorys or maybe hijacked from the ovi store, so please share your apps here guys, thanx. |

emelfm2 is a file manager for maemo, its been optified for the n900, it has a 2 panel view and loads of settings, can also view root, if you want to edit files in root then you will need to download rootsh from app manager then open xterm and type sudo gainroot, then emelfm2 then you can edit anything in root. WARNING running as root, you can mess your file system up if you remove stuff, so do so only if you know what your doing.. Download here .. http://is.gd/9Z8j1

Joikuspot premium for the N900, joikuspot turns your n900 into a wifi hot spot, other devices connect to the n900 via wifi and ur n900 connects to net via a gprs connection, the file is a .instal so it will add the joiku repository to your n900s app manager, not tested by me as iv no use for this app, download here .. http://is.gd/at6kG just extract the .install and click on it in file manager.
