What is Li-Mo?

I dont see WinMo or Windows 7 Phone or wateva its called surviving. I would say Symbian, iPhoneOS, BlackBerry, and Android are a given, as for the 5th, if HP can do anything with WebOS and Palm which has huge potential i think WebOS will be the 5th.

Oh n i hate blackberry OS its s**t really..lucky b****rds they be..if it wasnt for there intuitive apps dat makes social ntwrking fun n easy, they wudnt be nothin i rather WinMo, most blackberry phones hav really bad specs..only want one for social ntwrking..n as i said LiMo has potential..a mean its linux ppl..1st time i saw dual boot OS on a phone it was a LiMo phone n runin symbian/linux

Maemo/MeeGO is a niche OS, it will survive as its aimed at 'geeks' its far more inelastic than other OSes but its not big as the others,its not mainstream. Maybe im wrong about WebOS, but since Palm (the creators of WebOS) was bought by HP we may see some major changes,only time will tell. But as i said: Symbian, Android, iPhoneOS and BlackBerry are a given. Maemo/MeeGo will be there.

will be there but it will have a small share. I dont know about LiMo, we already have Maemo which is Linux. Who is going to make LiMo devices? Are those them Touchscreen Vodafone handsets? One of them lukd lyk a OmniaHD.

Well @Polo u do hav a point there, maemo/meego is linux, but LiMo is the original Linux Mobile (LiMo) n if given the chance it cud be better than maemo/meego n motorola mite collab wit them as they use to n meego/maemo is different frm LiMo (lets not get into details), though i wudnt mind a collab wit both of them

I'm rooting for LiMo @crail we will c wat happens in the near future n ill dig up this topic n see who havnt got a chance @plolo n year they hav LiMo phones frm voda n motorola too..they going to make 3 new phones this year frm selectd manufactors or operators..watch n wait..i think those phone r going to be gr8

I heard about LiMo late last year, but its nothing worth hyping about as most manufacturers are on the Android bandwagon. Samsung have made sum LiMo devices for Vodafone UK, one of them is almost identical to the OmniaHD.
