The camera was tested against rivals and found to be the best so far. It uses in what my opinion is the best display technology amoled and has a generous internal memory. Just a shame the battery is intergrated otherwise a real fab phone. Enjoy!

I only want a good os, as for the cam , who gives a fk, amoled is no upgrade over slcd in fact in sunlight slcd is better

Not to mention the cr*p resolution, a processor so slow that its found on low end androids, low ram, what a cr*p phone. I mean for that price, i would call it excellent if it was priced half than it is now

i very much doubt n9 will have the same sized sensor as n8 with it being a mobile computer, but you never know. fingers crossed. rohan you clearly no nothing if you think amoled is not an upgrade. theyre making amoled tvs, its the future of screens

Nokias can be more expensive but if you look at the 2nd hand market they do hold their value more than what samsungs do for instance. Samsungs are a bit like vauxhall vectras of the phone world lol. After a year they arent worth as much as a nokia of the same era for some reason. Maybe nokias are considered more desireable? I Dont know, your guess is as good as mine.

The new symbian version on the N8 maybe a downside where 3rd party apps are concerned but all new software needs time to mature.

As for display technologies both types have their pros and cons. Personally I Prefer amoled for its more vibrant colours but super lcd can be clearer producing more natural colours. HTC have gone back to super lcd but mainly cos there is a shortage of amoled displays. Not to mention that super lcd costs less to produce than amoled according to what mobile.
