Everyone's a winner certainly isn't true if we are talking of trophys and monetary prizes etc...but its a good attitude to have in general, kind of like its better to see the glass half full than half empty.

The team that didn't make the top 3 probably didn't train as hard and do what it takes to be the top of their division. To me this breeds the attitude of ''I don't have to work hard to get what others have''. When I was a kid, and most of you. If we didn't come in the top 3, we didn't get sht. And if you wanted a ribbon or trophy you had to work harder next time to get it

it should be good for the kids ego but in a way it makes them live in a dream world. if you want to be a winner you should work more.

i thinkl everyone knows number one is number one but if everyone gets a price it makes them thinmk they are all talented for that sport, i'm not sure that's so bad after all. in a way a prize for anyone is a reward for the work.

That those who had a lower income was more likely to return the extra reward. where those with higher incomes (never struggled) were more inclined to take the extra reward. i think the younger generations feel the older generations were suppresed so now they want to change the world that's why they set a new set of laws that they think , will burst the ego and encourage our kids.

Even the terms winner and loser are Co dependent, the winner is to some degree dependent on the loser fr his or her status as Winner.
