why is it that everyone is wearing these things? or the super dry ones, i see every jobless chavy hobo with one and wonder how they can afford such an overpriced jacket. as outdoor garments go they are nothing special and i would never waste my cash on one. far better and cheaper bits of kit out there. |

@ wapwand - 1.03.14 - 10:44pm you may be in a place that is very run down maybe, but here they do Obviously have too much time on your hands if you make it your business to check people's employment status and cross reference it with their abysmal fashion sense. |

lol and just because 'poor people' wear quality, name branded clothing, doesnt make that clothing less quality. its just snobbery to say otherwise. i think people with money want these goods to be exclusive to them, so they feel they can have something over other, less fortunate people. likewise, poor people want to have the things more fortunate people can acquire |

I was gonna get a j*p super dry one, but I found an identical one in Sainsbury's for 35 quid instead of 235 quid and im not a sheep or a mug. That's a lot of internet. So I have a Sainsbury jacket, which is lovely, and lot of internet. And some new trainers. And my daughter has yew trainers. And I have an extra 6-months car insurance on a car that will out sprint an M3. I'm fully getting old, and will a buy a brand name first thing in the morning.. |

@ wapwand - 1.03.14 - 10:50pm as i said its hype. sucked in my the brand name. you can get better hydrostatic hight jackets of 10.000 for 40 to 50 pounds less with a brand name comes reassurance though. its tried and tested. the brand becomes associated with a standard. true, an unbranded product could be of the same quality, but without that assurance, how can you be confident in what you buy? and before long, if that 'unbranded' product proves its quality, even that will become just another brand name that will see its price inflated. so its all BS. you can buy cheap, unfamiliar brand products, but at your peril. |
