with grass seeds, do you just throw them in the garden and walk away? or do you have to plant them and actually tend to them? also to kill dandelions do you just spray them with weed killer and walk away, or do you have to keep going at them? also, if dandelions are where the grass should be, how long should it take to kill the weeds before i can start throwing grass seeds down? |

You need to plant them individually, at a depth of 4 c.m. and evenly spaced.

I just hold out a handful of grass seeds and the birds and rabbits take them and plant the seeds for me, while the squirrels cook me a pie.

just take the weed killer back to the shop get your money back ...and then walk away....go home pull the DanDilions up if you don't like them....get the roots out too then they won't grow back....weed killer is terrible stuff never use it.... ![]() |

@ poppyt - 10.05.14 - 10:02am ![]() i am open to other suggestions, but the parts where the dandelions have taken over are bare enough as it is. its damage limitation really. if i dig out all the roots have the garden would be mud. |
