Dont forget to put your clock forward tonight but only by one second. The delay will allow experts to adjust the world clocks to compensate for the slower rotation of earth. Leap seconds are needed because a day is 86,400 seconds long but the earth takes 86,400.02 seconds to rotate. Remember last time what happened in 2012 their was a web meltdown |

i dont see how the web cant handle it, 99.9'/. of servers and software constantly checks the time with the atomic clock at rugby. so if the atomic clock says its 11.59.61 then they should automatically adjust them self ![]() |

But what about people who do not have automatic time change, even my phone has clock that is automatic, i dont have to touch it. Unless a change of simcard and battery removed, then i may have to reset it. |
