This is what happens when wealthy industrialised nations spend a few hundred years exploiting poorer countries. Eventually conditions deteriorate to the point when they all want to leave, which is what's happening now. Can't say I blame them really. A mile of poxy fencing isn't going to stop them, most of them have already travelled a thousand miles or more just to get there.
