The only rap i liked was by Marshall Mathers. I heard a tune on the radio in about '98 when i was in the shower, ''Hi my name is..'' and it had me laughing.  I hated rap, but this was different. I imagined him as a skinny 'black' guy, was amazed to find he was caucasian. I bought his album and my favourite tune on it was 'Stan'. To this day it's the only rap i ever liked. |

Stan, the track, was Good. I liked it. Slim raps like a character from a cartoon though. I call the majority of his work ''entertaining bulls**t'' ..

Rap often sounds like a bit of a protest, i found it refreshing that he dodged that and went with an entertaining approach instead. Well at least he did at first - then it all went a bit 'family drama' and got boring. |

No it was just word play,but yes Mel got it. Parappa the rapper was a video game..Pum Pum comes from the song Little Drummer Boy.
