I needed docs after the crash in December, I'd kicked all meds by February. Haven't seen him since. I expect, and hope, this is the start of another huge gap in my records.

You are allowed to see your own medical records, or to request copies. I believe most institutions just don't want to lose the original files, and that's why they don't want to give you your records right away... I might be wrong, or it might be different in other countries. But I know I have the right to my records in South Africa.

i paid for for copies of mine in january cost 30 quid, they should all be there you request the years you want.

@ 3mel - 14.10.17 - 10:17am thought patients weren't allowed to see their own records I think that there is now a new law out to allow patients access to see their own records, but i stand to be corrected,. If there isnt such a law?Then there bleedin' well should be, Mine should make interesting reading anyway.! |

If you've a chronic condition it's highly advisable that you request copies of everything.
