I think that is the stuff that has asbestos in it. Unless it was built more recently. Are you aware of this? You might need to get a new ceiling.

I like those ceilings myself, sometimes they are glittery. It's a shame they are made out of sh*t that can kill you. lol

I read about an hour ago that today turned out to be a good day for working on them. The milder weather, tomorrow as well is meant to be a fairly mild day, so with any luck most of it is under control by Friday.
