Most 'homeless' in town are beggars who have roots, including PAYE, an annual P60, at the least a bank account, and an address. Something they're ground to the system with.

Have experienced it before. I survived using my wits (I stole a coat to keep warm at night) I was eventually helped out by a relative.

I live in a city. Getting 6 hours worth of sleep here is generally rare.

I think it would need more than two days. knowing you only need to holdout for a short time isn't really the same as facing the same realities others face.

that said, I remember spending 2 weeks at a pontins back in 84. seeing our family bathroom again was like a revelation. it was clean and opulent by comparison. our furniture wasn't delaminating either.
that wore off over time.

Would i survive so really what youre asking is would i die, no i wouldnt die I believe, id sleep a lot, knock on some prehistoric womens front door when she just has dinner prepaired, then climb in her kitchen window and steal her oven gloves and food, if she hears you and starts to return to the kitchen, cough aplenty, thats day one.

Day 2 would probably start with a nap.Maybe try the old granny thing trick again for food, if that didnt work id steal. No point in trying to be clever in this age of observation, hood up, small shop, bottle of coke, pack of beef flavoured koka noodles, a mars ice cream and some marshmallows, burn rubber to your woodland hideout with your improvised lunch and dinner, search for magic mushrooms, if i find magic mushrooms ill be out repeating the cycle for another 2 days, if not ill be tooked in to bed by hour 50 with an enormous meal in me and an exsplosive wannk on the wall behind the tv
