I just had a quick glance through the list; can anyone explain why a majority seem to all be heiresses to vast fortune left behind by their parents or adopted all the wealth through divorce proceedings (see MacKenzie Scott who became the 4th richest women in the world simply on the virtue of divorcing Bezos) 87 per cent of Billionaires were however men, and the vast majority of billionaires from both sexes were self-made . Why is this such a consistent trend? Women have all the virtue and talents to spar head on with men, then why are they not able to innovate and build designs on the same level as their counter-sex? Lead companies as CEO and chairpersons? is it oppression? suppression of femininity? What's your opinion? |

Men do not take women as seriously. You can deny it all you want but that's it. It's affirmed to you your entire lives. As it was mine too |

Biology plays a role, and we live in a patriarchy. It basically creates a glass ceiling that women can't break through to get to the higher positions.

If that status quo isn't acceptable ? |

Jordan Peterson speaks a lot on this subject and a couple of comments already made here are true. Women will make a comfortable wage then get to a certain age and be more focused on having a family. Also be be a CEO type person you normally have certain personality traits which are more common in men, and even rarer in women who will juggle a high pressure job along a with a family but they do exist.

Mr Peterson is one of the most influential personalities I have ever seen from an online platform. I admire him beyond words. I could care less what some posters here think about him. He's helped millions of people worldwide, and he will always have my respect.
