So far everything is pointing out that is has much milder symptoms, just a typical antibody reaction. So hopefully this means COVID-19 is mutating into harmlessness.

It's been said from the very beginning that naturally occuring mutations to the virus could work both ways and could just as easily make the virus less harmful rather than more. In many cases there will be some kind of trade off that happens, for instance a mutation may make a virus more transmissible but also reduce the severity of infection, so you'd get more people becoming infected but less people dying or suffering serious complications from it. |

It sure makes you feel small. Imagine laying in bed, shivering violently, with cold painful bones. But with your skin and entire head feeling like they're on fire, head near bursting with the heat. No sweat though. Add to that constant, exhaustive coughing and vomiting. Only, the stomach is dry, utterly empty already, so nothing is coming out. Just the pain of your insides turning themselves inside out, whilst you keep trying to throw up your own flesh. But the pillow stays dry. And all you're focusing on is trying to maintain breathing, trying to prevent an internal injury, and just generally working absolutely and unconditionally to stay alive. Well that was me on Friday. |
