There is still 1000s of house holds out there with no power. Winter conditions. It dont bare thinking about if those trees fell another way. We was stood in the kitchen in pitch black at the height of the storm when we hear what sounded like glass breaking. When i say we have had a very lucky escape...aye

Sorry to hear that you have it so bad where you are. Scotland always get the worst of the worst storms, we in the south west had just a few branches snapped off and tiles blown off buildings and flooding in places,

My sister has been without power since friday lunch time. I have a few friends in the surrounding area still without power. Most in the shire are on well water and need power for the pumps so some have no water.
