Pulane, which is the female Sesotho name for rain. That was soooo many moons ago, only because I made a point of greeting and helping customers in their own languages. So a wonderful man gave me the nickname, and it lasted for a few years.

The eastern europeans use my full first name, I guess because of some sense of belonging or something. I also have a family-only nickname, which I've always had. All the fam use it, nobody outside ever can. But otherwise, yeah I'm Mikey out there, too |
