Do you think it's coming? Not an end to all social media per say, but the current system as it stands where one group, (that's loosing value fast) controls half the communication space essentially... Yes I'm talking about Meta, currently down about 70 in value since last year... Do you think they would sell insta n WhatsApp etc, or take everything down in a blaze of glorious self destruction? |

meta last quarter or even last month saw a 50 percent drop in revenue from advertising I hear   hopefully Zuck continues to sink the remainder of his assets into a product that people aren't especially interested in. |

I would cheer the demise of Facebook. Burn it down. I loved MySpace but made the switch to FB along with everyone else and hated it. MySpace was wide open and actually fun to use. Facebook never was.

Stopped using FB years ago. It probably has features i know nothing about now. Stopped using it because it told all our mates we had got lost when driving down to Cornwall. bast*rd thing..lol |

Social media isnt going anywhere but big changes are going to have to happen as freedom of speech has been virtually eradicated on many platforms due to sensitive little girls that get offended by words on a screen

Dont mind using the fb marketplace, groups to share common interests with and the messenger app to just call and message ppl on. Problem is them learning about us and trying to social engineer us. Hate anything that tries to set me on a path thru manipulation. They should just keep it simple and get ridd of the bots spamming. They should also stop saving our information and selling it.
