Does anyone suffer? I stopped smoking years ago vaping in september 23' its left me with the dreaded copd i use trelegy inhaler but it dont seem to do much tried allsorts latest medical results of early research show signs that vaping can cause worse problems than smoking in some cases after all its still junk we take into our lungs anyone else suffering? As nhs say if we smoked n stopped its great but the damage has allready been done |

My brother got copd after he used the vape to quit smoking and i really feel like that was what finally did it to him. Just a feeling though,as you say the damage is already there after smoking so long anyway

My dad did have copd due him smoking ziggies for ovee 36yrs until 1991. He passed away in december 2019, luckily he didn't get to see covid cos im sure that would have killed him for sure
|

When I warned about vaping in here I just got told I was being paranoid hey.. smoking was dying out as a thing, suddenly vapes came along and it was a whole new revival of the same sh*t, different flavour.

I tried vaping once to quit smoking and really felt like it was harder on my lungs so I didn't do it for long. I also found weed is really hard on the lungs, more so than smoking cigarettes. I have asthma too, used to be real bad as a kid but I only get it now if I smoke a lot. In saying all that, maybe you could try Mullein. You can get it as a tincture or buy the dried form to drink as tea. I really think it could be helpful.

It still seems a good idea to stop smoking or vaping even if the damage has already been done. You dont want it to get it any worse, and well I guess meds work better without the nicotine interfering with it

Apparently, new research shows vaping is at least as dangerous as smoking; I'm not sure how true that is as I didn't read the article.
