All regions and religions have had some 'prophet' figures of some kind, speaking for their God/Gods. Bible and Koran religions were local semitic religions which we (non-semites and blacks) have adopted. You expect nothing else. If by some event an indigenous African religion was the one which became the religion of the masses, you'd be asking ''why are none of the prophets Jewish, or white, or Indian etc?'' we import a Jewish religion, we get Jewish prophets.

But it hasn't always been this way. Before the dominance of Christianity, YHWH was mainly seen as a local Jewish deity by the world. Each people had their God/s and priests or prophets. Internally a people could elevate its God as possible but it remained a people-specific deity.
