Cuz the set up of the said books is within and among the middle east. In the different African tribes we have people that were known to have prophesied things over a hundred years before they happened.

All regions and religions have had some 'prophet' figures of some kind, speaking for their God/Gods. Bible and Koran religions were local semitic religions which we (non-semites and blacks) have adopted. You expect nothing else. If by some event an indigenous African religion was the one which became the religion of the masses, you'd be asking ''why are none of the prophets Jewish, or white, or Indian etc?'' we import a Jewish religion, we get Jewish prophets.

@ vampboy - 19.04.12 - 09:37am who said they weren't black or coloured? people don't even have a clue how Jesus looks like, so they potray him as a handsome white man, even Adam could have been black. Could have been... Black or white. Adam means earth... Some earth is reddish, some black... And when earth is baked in the kiln the end result is a reddish/brown substance... |

Historically Africa gave the first human population on earth and they emigrated to the other continents. They weren't too many that time, they split in 7 later. Maybe Adam was black. ![]() |

Maybe Adam was black. ![]() Its funny @mab. Contemporary archaeology doesnt match the Hebrew stories. According to that, man originated in the middle-east in the Syro-Iraq region where Eden was located. |

To understand this, we must remove ourselves from the prevailing religious situation. Now, when you say 'God' the default meaning is taken to be the Hebrew God YHWH. But it hasn't always been this way. Before the dominance of Christianity, YHWH was mainly seen as a local Jewish deity by the world. Each people had their God/s and priests or prophets. Internally a people could elevate its God as possible but it remained a people-specific deity.

Asking why the Hebrew God (at that time) didn't appoint foreign prophets is like asking why Enlil didn't have didn't appoint Hebrew prophets, or why Nyambe (our ancestral monotheistic deity) didn't have white prophets.
