What or who is a christian? Is it coz the parents are christians or non muslim, jew, buddist, hindu or whateva? Or is it coz he attends church on a sunday, spending aprox 2 hours there, wishing that oke wud just stop whining, after which, God gets conveniently locked away in His little cage so that he can continue with his normal (sinful ways) without any guilt until the following sunday? |

It is mostly because of a person's parents that determines their religion.

A christian is a follower of Christ. A child's religion n faith is usually determined by its parents,of which he goes along with full knowledge of wats expected of him or none at all. Until the point of his life wea his eyes is opened to the truth. BTW i dnt call church goers who dnt keep d faith christians.....

So, what shall we call those who regularly attend church on sundays? I mean, the majority of people go to church on sundays. Are they not considered christians? If not, what are they then?

A christian is one who professes belief in Jesus as the promised messiah, the son of God and savior of the world. Most of extras border on the no true scotsman mentality. Take someone from a truly sectarian church organization and they'll have a very exclusive definition of what a Christian is which limits the term to only some members from their group.

If not, what are they then? Going to a church group has little to do with being or nor being a christian. The question is... What does the church-goer believe? Also there are many christians who dont belong to any denomination. |

been a Christian is abt how u live ur life, believin that Jesus came to die for our sins, that He was the sacrificial lamb, it is abt a r/s between u nd God... it is abt love for ur fellow man, sittin in a buildin once a week does not make u a Christian.

that is what the christans are showing their ignorance, because your own bible says muhammad(s.a.w) is the final prophet....

According to what you believe Jesus taught @aijaz. Tbh christians and Muslims have no common ground on which to debate Jesus. They derive Jesus from different books.

i would like to quote few verses from the bible in order to show you what really the prophet jesus (pbuh) said and if you read John 8:42 it says I have not come on my own, but he (God) sent me. and the interesting thing is that the very Quran also says the same that the Jesus, the son of Mary, said, O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law which came before me...Quran 61:6
