I'm all for freedom of expression, but like everything It isn't limitless, religious sensitivities must be taken into account, I'm also okay with face covering banned for security purpose, but the drawing makes no sense to me.

A person is naturally hurt whenever something he holds sacred is defiled or desecrated. I, myself consider it morally wrong to hurt the religious sensibilities of others, as it can disturb the peace and harmony of society and disrupt law and order in various ways.

cartoons don't disrupt peace, backward idiots reacting to them do. And why is it my problem if someones religious sensitivities are hurt? thats their problem not mine.

It doesn't matter whether It is a cartoon, a talking bear or whatever, anything established to mock people's religious sensibilities is a crime in my opinion, and yes peace and harmony in one way or another may be disrupted in society and things may not necessarily lead to physical violence, mind you.

Mosques don't mock you, Christians do not have issues with Muslims believing Jesus is not God nor they with Christians for rejecting Muhammad, the problem arises when one group feels the need to show superiority over another by bashing and mocking their beliefs, religion is something held most sacred by many people, distrust and dislike will establish in a community over time in my opinion towards a particular group for mocking their beliefs thus causing many problems in stable secular societies

how do you know mosques don't mock me? their very existence contradicts my non belief. they subtley force me to acknowledge others beliefs everytime I look at them. They need to be destroyed and outlawed immediately to maintain the peace. Please don't feel I'm holding you and society at ransom though.

for example if my family lives with another family, who have completely different point of views as to how a family is run, if they mind their own business and we mind our own, things will go smoothy, however if I constantly mock/insult them as to how they run their family or worst abuse their family members, I'm sure over time that peace and harmony we had between us will diminish or worsen over time even with them ignoring my mocking for a time being.

So what you're saying is I must elevate the status of things that offend you, however things that offend me can be dismissed.

Who is asking you to acknowledge that building? or best who asked you to even have to acknowledge Islam as a whole? for all I know reject it, feel free to convey your views too (the very same ones you posted here in fact) but at the same time refraining from resorting to mocking and abuse their religious sensibilities, I don't find this difficult at all.

But why shouldn't peoples religious sensibilities be mocked? What makes them so special and important to have this elevated status? None of them have to acknowledge the cartoons, I can't understand why they can't refrain from trying to limit peoples freedoms. It isn't difficult at all.
