look u judge alot the OT but anything in the NT is like that and kind of denies the NT esp by the voice of Jesus who said christians are not to obey the old law anymore cuz God sets a new law, the law of Love, and also he saids that the ppl from the OT didn't know much. and he was right cuz ppl were more civilised in antiquity than in the stone age... not much but anyway...

The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing their way into it.Luke 16:16

Surely the LAW had a prohibition against it... Infact leviticus and Deutronomium had clear instructions againt human flesh and killing...yet it was done |

my take on it is this... just because it was in the Bible doesn't make it good or from God. alot is History, not law, not how it should be, not what God wanted or seeked.

again my take... there is a lot of wrong doings in the Bible, even things that was said was from God, but it was man who wrote the Bible nd put it that way to justify their war mongerin, blood thirst nd lust.

Romans 7:6 But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

@ manszar - 9.01.13 - 08:52am why did you miss out Luke 16:17 It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law. clearly showing the law is here to stay. Correct!!! Jesus came to FULFIL the law NOT abolish!!! See the definition of fulfil: ''carry out (a duty or role) as required, promised, or expected: some officials were dismissed because they could not fulfil their duties'' |

yet most christians take the OT not literally and it's a fact, fact that proofs the man evolved and still can worship God...

if they dont take it litterally then the whole Genesis idea is out the window...if the OT is not literal why make the NT literal? (i actually used to belong to a church that took the entire bible figuratively)
