So he sends his son to Earth, who does lots of good things for us and teaches us how to be good, and then he is betrayed, and killed on a cross in return, and then the people wear crosses around their necks as a symbolic reminder of his death. If that was your son, wouldn't you feel like turning your back on those people? |

Maybe you should read your bible. It is full of your god turning his back and slaughtering large numbers of people w*lly nilly.

god is in another dimension now and it is harder to interact (in anything other than a very passive praying type way) as we don't have the Ark of the Covenant anymore.

If God had abandoned mankind, we'd all be burning in hell right now. God is good and just, therefore He is totally justified in sending everybody to hell because we have all sinned against Him. Yet here we are, living, being given a chance daily to repent and receive the gift of salvation, which Christ paid for on the cross. God has not abandoned mankind, we have abandoned Him.

Nope, it makes God just and righteous. He created us, gave us the Law, we rebelled against Him and broke the Law. Let justice take its course so that God may be shown to be just and good. There's nothing worse than a corrupt judge who let's criminals go free without justice.

Jesus wasn't just a good guy, He is God. He has saved more lives than you can count to. And He's given them much more than a remedy for leprosy.

Making us feel guilty for the sins of 2 makes god sound like a d*ck. The is nothing worse than a judge that presumes guilt rather than innocence |

You're not going to go to hell for what Adam and Eve did, but for what you have done.

@ bobdylan - 30.04.13 - 10:59am he gave them leprosy to start with ![]() All disease, sickness, death, suffering, pain, evil is the direct result of rebellion against God and the fall of man. You would think mankind would be able to recognize this, turn away from his sin, and turn back to God. Read 2 Chronicles 7:14 |

A lack of belief in Hell does not affect whether it exists or not. Hell exists whether you want to believe or not.
