The uk is set to be the first country to allow the creation of babies using dna from three people. the government have backed the controversial ivf technique designed to eradicate diseases passed down through the mother. Is this crossing 'the line' to the risk of creating designer babies? Or is this good science? |

sorry but if u have a disease i kno will be carried down to ur children, don't have any.... or adopt, plenty of children who can do with a warm lovin home. that is just my opinion.

and really, i am not a fan of IVF when it comes to donore sprem or eggs either.. just my own personal feelin, one i'd never impose on another.

I understand a mother wanting to have the best for her child but inserting DNA from a third person for only a forty percent chance that the child will be born without any defects,there is still a big sixty percent chance that it won't work, and the child will pass on the genes to their offspring,then there is a big chance the DNA will mutate further down the bloodline
