This past January, numerous teleportation break throughs were recorded. One example is the work of Professor RainerBlatt from the University of Innsbruck. He and the others on his team were able to successfully perform teleportation on atoms for the first time. Their work was published in the journal Nature, and lends interesting insight into this phenomena.
