This sometimes work for me.. Slap the top back of the phone not too hard and not too soft either.. Should be ok ..

Switch out of dual mode in settings/phone/network/network mode. . . if the fone tries 2 switch during a call it ends up dropping it instead

thats the fix 4 this issue normally. U could try takin the battery out 4 a few secs @swiss n make a new connection with your network. plus branded firmware usually dont work as well as non branded 1's

sim card registered failed means the sim was rejected by the network, two reasons for this: a: the phone has been imei blocked (reported stolen?) or b: sim has been disabled.

meghertz you are exactly right.A test can be done by inserting sim of another provider and if it runs then the phone is not blocked.In that case only way is to consult with service provider and they will refix it after fullfilment of their dues or other querries.Do u have pressed security code more than 3times if so its the another coz of sim registration failed.
