if i bump my cpu up2 3.4ghz i only get an extra 669 points and 174 of that is from the cpu score, the rest the gfx cards. what score do u get on the SM3 tests? @ spartan

gfx cards are at stock but even OC'd they add only an extra 200 points so dont see the point.

How much do u think a 9850 quad extreme 1600 cpu and 2 x 2gb 4870x2 and 4gb transcend 1800mhz memory etc. Score on 3d mark 2006?

before i got rid of my E6600 my cards did 7.5 and 8.5 on the shader tests. The CPU enough over 3k. Now i have a Q6700. they can give about 1500-2500 more CPU points per clock as a dual. Go figure.

my wifi connection has dies on its a*se and only downloading at a max of around 50kbs this afternoon. even had it cutting off while playing FEAR combat.

hrm.. so looking at pob9's score, if i had the q6600 OC'd i could get at least another 2000 points putting my score over 17000. well that makes me feel a bit better lol

maybe. But u cant just add 2k because the scores arent just added. They are equalised, see how 6 plus 7 plus 3 doesnt make 16....
