Is there any type of web application that can tweak and make the speed of a download go faster if you are using dial up internet? Usually connects at 46,6 kbps. Please help any1 |

there are a punch of apps on the net and not free. those wont work. u pay for nothing.

make sure your signal is at its best and you can turn off the 20percent that ms takes from u at default. run/gpedit.msc/administrative templates/network/QoS packet scheduler/limit reservable bandwidth/ then enable it and instead of 20 enter 0 and it ok. it can be done on windows xp pro, vista ultimate, 7pro, 7ultimate and enterprise.

go in properties of ur active connection change the speed from 115 kb/s to 921kb/s also u could change the port in ur phone to 3128,8799,3177,8080,3124.9201

You live in London.. Upgrade to broadband, less than 10 pound a month. You obviously have a phone line already.
